Teruhiko Saito was born in Tokyo, where he graduated in Social Sciences from Waseda University, continuing to attend the Tokyo University of Art under the guidance of M ° Asahiko Eguchi.
He then moved to Rome, where he graduated from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia under the guidance of Maestro Lucio Buccarella; among his studies also the courses of the Chigiana Music Academy of Siena with Maestro Franco Petracchi.
He has released two albums for the NBB Records label: Akatombo and Un Bacio Solo.
He has published, again for NBB Records, the Method for Double Bass - Technique and rules for the left hand.
He plays with a French bow setting.
Currently he is dedicated to solo and didactic activity.
