Lucette Snellenburg is an experienced and versatile singer who gives meaning to her passion in various ways with her soulful voice and captivating personality.
She toured as a soloist with the Metropole orchestra, the WDR Bigband, The Ramblers and the Glenn Miller Orchestra and she was part of the successful and recently re-founded vocal group Sisters with which she performed numerous corporate events and radio and television performances at home and abroad. .
Few singers can put so much soul, so much sincere inspiration in their repertoire as Lucette. No wonder that her graduation performance at the Hilversum Conservatory was good for that coveted yet so rare “cum laude”. It was the same spirit that made Lucette the winner of the prestigious Pall Mall Swing Award.
Singing is a profession, inspiration is a gift. Lucette has that gift.
She gives inspiring workshops and singing lessons to young and old, can be heard in various commercials and provides backing vocals for many artists, both live and in the studio.
Lucette has worked with artists such as Gerard Joling, Paul de Leeuw, Carlo Boszhard and Irene Moors, Cor Bakker, Lee Towers, René Froger, Johnny Logan, Robert Palmer, Rob de Nijs, Simone Kleinsma, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Willeke Alberti, Berget Lewis and for Amnesty International did backing vocals for Herman Brood and Trijntje Oosterhuis, among others.
Together with Joke Bruijs and Willem Nijholt, she already enchanted entire halls with her first notes during the Richard Rogers Tribute. But Lucette also knows how to "touch" her audience during a private dinner, wedding ceremony or stylish reception. Intimate, almost vulnerable and yet - or precisely because of that - impressive
In 2014 Lucette was asked to participate in the television program The Voice of Holland. After much hesitation she decided to take the plunge and with success; all coaches turned!
In 2016 she recorded 13 favorite songs with fantastic musicians; the album Music and Me.
