Folk and jazz, chanson and trip-hop, film music and acoustic expanses of almost scenic beauty – their references range from Yann Thiersen and Serge Gainsbourg, through Nico and Jackson Browne, to Boris Vian, Abbey Lincoln and Weather Report. They all belong to the horizons of experience that echo in Dagefoer's music – a music in which nothing is off-limits and yet delights us with its composure.
