The Orange Humble Band - Assorted Creams (1997)

In a perfect world, everyone would be grooving to Assorted Creams by the Orange Humble Band. As it is, this is not to be, but if you get a chance to pick up this disc you won't be disappointed. Assorted Creams is the handiwork of one Darryl Mather, along with such friends as Mitch Easter and former Posie Ken Stringfellow, has come up with a decidedly updated version of good-time music. Song after song comes along with a great melody and some interesting hippie-esque lyrics; here, there, and everywhere, there are hooks, hooks, and more hooks. Listeners should experience Assorted Creams as a whole that is a true sum of its many delicious parts.
