Roachford was one of several black British vocalists working in a hybrid style merging soul, rock, reggae, and pop. He came close on his debut to finding success with the same audience being sought by Seal, Junior Giscombe, and Hugh Harris white rock fans who also liked soul. Unfortunately, this album didn't generate the momentum Roachford needed, and he has yet to emerge from the underground.
