Vladimir Jurowski - Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 6 (2008) [2016 SACD]

Finally we have the 6th Symphony, to my mind the crowning glory of Tchaikovsky’s symphonic writing! And once again Jurowski is up to the task. He has the same rigor of a Mravinsky, but without the exaggerations. To my knowledge Avex never released SACDs of the first three symphonies, though they were recorded at around the same time.
