Ron Eckert is a storytelling Americana and Country songwriter influenced by Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Robert Earl Keen, Jr. He has recorded albums at Willie Nelson's studio in Luck, Texas, and John Carter Cash's studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee. "Child of This Land," the title track of his new album, features a duet with John Carter Cash. John Carter Cash has described this song as a "true American classic."
