I had never heard the Gewandhaus Quartet, but I was anxious to hear something more than just orchestral warhorses in hi-res sound and so I gave this a shot. It proved to be quite wonderful and the Gewandhaus Quartet proved to be a very fine ensemble! Unfortunately, this disc came in a digipack with notes folding out from the inside. This prevented scanning of the notes.
