If like me you play the violin you will know that these are the most difficult pieces written for the violin. Often when violin music becomes difficult it also becomes "difficult" to listen to. Not for Feng Ning and certainly not on this CD which is an absolute joy to listen to. Feng Ning is without doubt one of the best violinists of a generation. At the Royal Academy Of Music he was the first student in nearly 200 years to be given 100% in his final exam! In 2006 he won the 51st Paganini International Violin Competition in Genova, Italy. You will not hear virtuostic solo violin music played better than it is here.
