2017 release from the Scottish duo. Pocketful Of Stones is the brother's accumulated creative outpourings and observations from the past four years. Always writing from the heart, the album covers a tumultuous relationship with politics, examines their perspectives of love and parenthood, looks at how reflection in oneself can ultimately lead to appreciating what makes you truly happy, and what the shortcomings of failing to live up to modern societal standards can be. Hue And Cry wanted to make an album that expresses how the immense pressures of just surviving in modern society can take it's toll. Hue And Cry caught the public's attention in the late '80s with a string of chart friendly hits. Their pop sound was not to last, however, as in the '90s they took an experimental turn, and demonstrated their abilities to slip in and out of a multitude of styles, including drum 'n' bass, afro-beat and R&B.
