Optimo Music is a label of many sub labels. One of the most successful of these was Optimo Music Disco Plates, a series of ten 12" singles released between 2014 - 2018 that as the name suggests focussed on the more Disco side of the musical spectrum. Ranging from Afrobeat influenced Dub Disco to a classic Discofied show tune released in the 80s to 21st Century New York Freestyle, percussive groovers to full blown Disco fever, it's got it all going on here and this is perhaps the ideal compilation for escapism, joy and release.
