The Servants formed in London in 1985, and were based around the carefully crafted song writing of David Westlake. The first two Servants singles, "She's Always Hiding" and "The Sun, A Small Star", attracted good reviews, and both made the independent singles chart. The band played its last show at the Rock Garden in London's Covent Garden. August 21, 1991.
