Will & Rainbow - Harmony (2003) [SACD]

Will Boulware, an early pioneer of jazz-fusion, is back with Harmony, a follow up to his smash Over Crystal Green, both on 441 Records. Returning are regulars Michael Brecker, Steve Gadd, and Peter Bernstein. Rounding out the ensemble is bassist Anthony Jackson, and keyboardist Philippe Saisse. What makes Harmony special is the addition of the unique and fabulous vocalist Phoebe Snow on three tracks. All songs are arranged by Boulware including two original compositions that bring Will's signature fusion of jazz and funk.
