Bobby Lyle - Night Fire (1981)

Bobby Lyle’s third Capitol album ‘Night Fire’ from 1979 was produced by Trevor Lawrence and has a more sophisticated soulful sound. The vocal tracks ‘Stop Running Away From Love’, ‘Dream Lady’ and the slightly slower ‘Gettin’ into Love’ perfectly illustrate the change of approach. Stevie Wonder makes an ppearance on Clavinet on the funkier ‘Space Place’. Bobby demonstrates his inventive keyboard skills on the up tempo instrumental ‘For Love’.
