Daria Stefan - A Taste of Jazz (2021)

Daria Stefan is a young artist from Romania who started her musical career at the age of only 6, within Grupul Muzical Miracol of the Sector 6 Children’s Club, then at Corul Nostalgia, falling in love with this beautiful art.

From the age of 9 she participates in a lot of contests, festivals, shows and TV shows, where she obtains numerous awards and distinctions (Finalist Mamaia Copiilor, Andantino Trophy, Star Melody Trophy, Simply the Best Trophy, Spring Star Trophy, Liliput Trophy, Martisor Trophy, Bucharest Kids Music Trophy, Allegria Trophy offered by Dan Voiculescu Foundation, etc).
It was her period of training and discovery, a period of trial that helped her understand this phenomenon, to adapt and to improve.

In 2014, Daria began her solo career, at which point she began to take singing lessons with one of the most important Romanian teachers and composers, Professor Marius Teicu, who made a decisive mark on her musical formations.

In the spring of 2015 she participates in the Next Star Show (Antena 1), where she delighted the audience with the winning song of Eurovision 2014 – Rise Like A Phoenix, and again in 2016 with the song Say You Love Me from the international repertoire, being the only Next Star participant in two consecutive editions.

The Next Star experience motivated her to follow her dream, giving her self-confidence and helping her understand that through hard work and perseverance nothing is impossible.
