Yakity Yak & The Mike Espy Band - Born In The Country (2008)

Yakity Yak & The Mike Espy Band have signed with No Cover. They have already recorded a new CD at Straight Ahead Studios titled "Born in the Country" which was released in January, 2008, before the guys went down to Memphis to compete in the International Blues Competition there. They have already won the Detroit Blues Challenge, which is a part of the IBC. 11 original songs and 2 covers.
Yak is an Old School Delta bluesman paired with Mike Espy a school teacher who is clearly an A student of the blues - together they have written and recorded a great blues record.
