In the space of two albums, The Peacers has established their original sound. The psychedelic garage-pop quartet from San Francisco may not be cited by the greatest groups of its generation but will have the merit of dwelling on their musical universe, as their successor entitled Blexxed attests. Rec thus following their Introducing The Crimsmen published three and a half years earlier.

Starting off with a bang with a "Ms. Ela Stanyon's School of Acting", The Peacers confirms that they know how to make quality garage with influences that have something to remind Jon Spencer Explosion at times before redoubling in intensity with "Ghost of a Motherfucker ”all guitar riffs out. The song of Mike Donovan manages to bewitch us while the rest of the Californian group seems to have listened a lot to Revolver by The Beatles so much the influence is great here with in particular "Dickdog In Paris", "Colors For You" and "Irish Suit" which quickly change the game with more bucolic and relaxing sounds.

Blexxed Rec therefore represents a 90 ° turn for The Peacers who ventures towards bittersweet and nostalgic lands with the blues-folk allures of "Stinson Teep". We also want as proof the luminous and psychedelic tracks of "Dandelion" and "The Thunder Is An Electrical Love" even if we do not yet reach the climax. It is with the bewitching "Bic Sitar" and "Make It Right" that the San Francisco quartet confirms this trend which suits them rather and which will make this third album a true lesson in timeless rock'n'roll.
