Alyson McNamara (Toronto, Canada) is a singer/songwriter and BMus graduate of Humber College with a major in Voice. She has appeared at various Canadian folk festivals, has been a commissioned songwriter for Premier Dalton McGuinty’s Character Education Initiative and has tackled and judged songwriting competitions such as the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest, CBC Expand Your Bandwidth and The Shelter Valley Local Songwriters Showcase. Alyson opened for Gregg Allman at The 2011 Kitchener Blues Festival as a former member of the band 'Bodice'. Her first album, 'Get Yourself Home' was released in 2013. Her sophomore album 'We All Heard Nothing' 2018.
