Based in Los Angeles, California, singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Ruben Castro presents his vibrant musical project Stuck! N Colors, accompanied by a four-song EP under the name Bitterblue.
It is an Indie-dance project influenced by the music of the 80's, with electronic beats, funk guitars, electronic rock attitude and nods to Synthpop.
Moon is the promotional track of this EP, a danceable and sensual track that from house immerses us in a passionate story of two lovers enjoying an intense night under the moon. It is carried by a crazy mood, as a consequence of those unbridled relationships in which the sound is coupled to the situation and of course, it is skilfully reflected in this piece.
Bitterblue was recorded in Los Angeles California by engineer Francis Buckley (who has worked with Alanis Morisette and Quincy Jones). The production was in charge of Ruben Castro himself, along with Efrain Gonzalez (Torkhe, EA, Ovotitan) and Roy Boukris (Loren Noyman, Isaac Wilson, Shaul Eshet Trio), the latter in charge of the mixing and master of the EP.
Stuck! N Colors opens its range of sounds with the conception of these four pieces, a bite of its diverse musical offering that will be reflected in new layers and harmonies. From the electronic to the new wave, passing through the industrial, in a journey that traces the artistic cosmogony of this project.
On the other hand, Ruben Castro is a Venezuelan musician, based in Los Angeles, California. Since his arrival in the United States, he has been developing and collaborating around musical projects such as Nani or andremustdie, contributing his sonic background.
