Ulfuls (ウルフルズ, Urufuruzu) is a Japanese rock band from Osaka formed in 1988 and debuted in 1992 under the Toshiba EMI label. In January 2007, they moved to Warner Music Japan. The band name Ulfuls is derived from a misreading of the word "soulful," found on the cover of one of the band members' favorite records. With the 30th anniversary of their debut in 2022, Ulfuls announced the production of self-covers for all 30 famous songs from the past. Of the 30 songs, the first of these, "Ulban," is centered around famous songs and representative songs that everyone has heard under the theme of "Selection of his ulfuls-impressive masterpieces."
