"Album of love, eroticism and revolution." This is how Chilean singer Camila Moreno describes her latest producer, Rey, the singer-songwriter's first studio album since Mala madre (2015) and one of the most ambitious and successful local releases of the year.
The album includes singles that the artist has already promoted over the past year and a half, such as Let's burn the Kingdom, It's real, I make my love cry, Man, Close and Let me, the latter with Lido Pimienta and Ximena Sarinana.
Added to these are other powerful pieces such as Detonación, La luz asesina and Corderito Mine - with words from the eponymous poem by Gabriela Mistral - as well as a number of interludes that add more coherence and nuance to a work marked by revolution, feminism, social explosion and various personal processes, through which, according to her own statement, her author has gone recently.
