Equations Collective - The Helicon Sessions (2021)

Multi-faceted collaborative project Equations Collective venture their debut of ambient dub electronica, recorded on an ancient Greek mountainside

A sprawling multi-disciplinary artist group comprising Artefakt, Aroma Pitch, Aphelion & Sphera De Noumenon. The collective have established an all night long live event in Berlin which has featured the likes of Rabih Beaini (Morphosis / Morphine Records), Orson Wells (Live at Robert Johnson), Phillip Jondo (Salon Des Amateurs) & more, and the respective members of the Equations Collective have released a range of output on the likes of Field Records, Delsin, Semantica Records, De Stijl, & Soul People Music. Decamping to Mount Helicon and a temporary studio 1130 meters above sea level, the group exchanged and cultivated their ideas for "The Helicon Sessions", an open-ended suite sweeping between 90s style ambient, electro-dub depth charges, ringing modular abstraction, and rolling dub techno, culminating in a groaning sort of ambient noise work.
