Hugh Mane - Unreleased House Project (2021)

This album came together through having an unquenchable thirst to produce and represent my past experiences of warehouses parties back in the early days of house. Those experiences will live with me for a lifetime, and I am very glad to have had them. These tracks represent for me the spirit and feel of those days. The strobe in a dark room, the unmistakable smell of amyl nitrate in a damp corner near a speaker stack in a huge warehouse. The anticipation of what lay inside as you drop your first e in the queue, all while the bass rattles the fixtures & foundations. Then, once all your energy is spent, the after party, early morning, ridiculous amounts of blunts, hot knives and bongs whilst someone loads a cassette of deep house or street soul
