The composer, pianist, sound artist and radio drama author Ulrike Haage is one of the most multifaceted artists in Germany today. Final spurt for the documentary #Schockwellen. Finishing the music for the radio adaption of #ElenaFerrante #MeinegenialeFreundin. Covid-19 is the first pandemic to be tracked live by the world. The film tells the story at eye level with the development, exclusively using archive material, without comment: directly, suddenly, unfiltered. The music consists of fragile and emotional tones without pushing for “shock waves”. With my compositions I wanted to ground the public, to give some comfort without loosing the sophistication of the compositions. ~Ulrike Haage
