Trioraro - Triofreuden (2021)

The Bern Piano Trio TRIORARO began its work in 2008 with the preparation of the complete piano trios by Robert Schumann. A series of concerts has been documented with the release of a live recording from the Bern Conservatory. This recording has already been broadcast on the radio several times.

In addition to the commitment to the Bernese composer Peter Streiff, the programmatic focus was on the piano trios of Ludwig van Beethoven. TRIORARO performed Beethoven's Triple Concerto in 2014/15 with the Bern Medical Orchestra and the Orchestre de l'Université de Fribourg.

Further programme focuses were key works by Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel (2017) and the late works of Franz Schubert (2019). Next season, TRIORARO will offer an insight into the two Opus 8 trios by Johannes Brahms.
