Jesse Cobb - Another Road (2016)

Jesse Cobb grew up in a musical family in the Northwood’s of Wisconsin. At the age of ten, after losing the battle to his oldest brother Jed for the guitar, he picked up the mandolin and fell in love with the sound. With limited instruction from a father who played just about everything Jesse moved to learning traditional fiddle tunes he heard around the house by ear. After hearing the NewGrass Revival and Sam Bush’s mandolin style, he made rapid progress learning all the solos of Sam by heart. Other early influences were Gus Ingo, Jerry Stuart, Bill Monroe, Jethro Burns, Bobby Osborne, and Peter Ostrushko. - See more at:(wherescobby.com/bio/)
