Ehule - Seven Gates of Space (2021)

We present the album of ambient and experimental music "Seven Gates Of Space" from the American project Ehule (the album was released on the label Simphonic Silence Inside, at number 177). The album "Seven Gates Of Space" is a series of alternative realities exploring seven different states of being. Through a combination of field recordings and electronic instruments the listener’s consciousness takes on different embodiments ranging from a nebulous cloud in a droning rainstorm to an object inside a drawer passively observing the world. “No matter what form consciousness takes, there is always awareness inside the gate of space. Listening to these compositions, we strive to listen more deeply to the world around us and to each other…" ~ Ehule.

Ehule is a project of a sculptor and sound designer from Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA. Ehule is a metaphysical exploration of sound. Immersive soundscapes are woven together using ambisonic field recordings and electronic instruments. The project was started as a way to induce different emotional states in the listener while in meditation. Created as portals to cultivate presence and awareness that expands beyond the pieces into everyday experience.
