An experimental post-hardcore quintet based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, Eidola's heady blend of metalcore and post-rock invokes names like Dance Gavin Dance, Russian Circles, and the Dear Hunter. Founded in 2011 and featuring the talents of Andrew Michael Wells (vocals), Brandon Bascom (guitar, vocals), James Johnson (bass), Matthew Dommer (guitar, vocals), and Matthew Hansen (drums), the band self-released its 2012 debut album, The Great Glass Elephant. Two years later the group inked a deal with Blue Swan Records and issued Degeneraterra. In early 2017 they dropped the single "Amplissimus Machina" in anticipation of the release of their third studio long-player, To Speak, to Listen.
