Several cities or regions in Poland have had the honor of having their own jazz environment: of course Warsaw (although this is a separate case), certainly Kraków, the Tri-City, Upper Silesia, Wrocław and Bydgoszcz should be placed in the same row. It is a phenomenon, considering that the aforementioned cities are much larger than her, richer both economically and in terms of cultural tradition. Of course, the Mózg club played a huge role here, but most of all, a group of extremely talented, creative, but also persistent, resistant to adversities musicians who create this environment, among which Jachna is one of the most interesting.

You will like them especially if you like jazz, not jazz. What does it mean? Following your own path, looking for your own sound, originality, creativity, focus on sounds, not on PR. What I personally like very much about Jachna's music, and what is very present on this album, are ambient atmosphere with occasional dance rhythm. Such a mixture is always wonderfully soothing to me, especially late in the evening.

And if you are generally afraid of solo albums, then in this case there is no such need, because although he plays only Jachna, the use of various instruments, especially electronic transformations and in the same way generated rhythms - all perfectly mixed by Jarek Hejmann and mastered by Marcin Bociński - makes the music sound almost like recorded in a band. The only thing that can be accused of this album is the fact that it is not a step in any new direction, it sounds like material recorded during a pandemic, so as not to go crazy and not lose contact with the music. However, in this sense it has a really therapeutic effect on the listener and this is why my second objection is related: that the album is too short, it lasts less than 38 minutes, which is a pity because you would like to listen and listen ... !
