Robert Jukic - Caminos de Gloria (2021)

Boštjan Simon, Tomaž Gajšt, Robert Jukič and Kristijan Krajnčan are excellent soloists and authors who create their own projects and collaborate with a number of other domestic and foreign artists. On Robert Jukič's new album Caminos de gloria, they are united into a quartet that, without expectations and prejudices, follows rough sketches of samurai, dictators, megalomaniacs, concentration camps, venues of great battles, mass graves and other human values and achievements. The set of 14 new compositions performed by the quartet without a harmonic instrument leaves the music and performers the space and time that are necessary, but not necessarily used. The Paths of Glory is a musical reflection on man, there are glorious victories that are not, there are hymns, hymns, assault and funeral marches, mourning and ode to life, a map of eternal life, a comedy of endless tragedy.

This time, one of the most versatile and prolific Slovenian artists, Robert Jukič, prepared two musical treats for his fans: the album Caminos de gloria and a concert album, which was created in 2015 as part of Drama Acoustics at the presentation of his double album Ženske.
