We are mourning the loss of Swiss conductor and chorus master Michel Corboz, who has been a true figurehead of Erato for decades. He was particularly specialized in sacred baroque music, of which he gave a unique personal touch, staying apart from the movement of Historically Informed Performance. We are paying him homage with this beautiful rendition of Lalande’s moving De profundis.
