The Soaked Lamb - Two To Two (2021)

The Soaked Lamb formed in 2006 and in their curriculum have three edited albums - "Homemade Blues" (2007), "Hats & Chairs" (2009) and "Evergreens" (2012) - having also, over these fifteen years career, participated in the soundtrack of films and advertisements.

Particularly inspired by American music from the first half of the 20th century, the band is composed by Afonso Cruz (vocals, guitar, banjo, ukulele, harmonica and lap steel), Gito (double bass), Mariana Lima (vocals and saxophone), Miguel Lima ( drums and percussion), Tiago Albuquerque (saxophone, guitar, concertina, ukulele) and Vasco Condessa (piano, keys). And there's still a megaphone involved.

Because all members of the group have other professions (a writer, illustrator and director, two advertisers, a designer, a sound technician and an illustrator and director), The Soaked Lamb doesn't have time to be in a hurry: they make music as it was made for seventy or eighty years, with the care of someone who makes a melody to last and not a rhythm to climb the tops.

That's how, in 2021, The Soaked Lamb announce their return to record editions with the release of their fourth album entitled " Two To Two ".

"This is a record loaded with leisure, as it was previously defined, which allowed for twists and turns, recordings and re-recordings, epiphanies and discourtesy, as well as the necessary slowness for an outcome that fully satisfied us. Despite the leisure, it was a lot of work." , refers to the band with its characteristic sense of humour.
