Bertolf - Happy In Hindsight (2021)

There's something weird about Bertolf's music. It is craftsmanship and sounds familiar, thanks to the echoes to artists who lived their heyday in the Sixties and seventies of the last century (from Jeff Lynne to Jackson Browne, from Beatles to Beach Boys and Byrds), yet no Dutch singer-songwriter sounds like him: so groomed, so warm-blooded, so careless musically, so’retro ‘and contemporary at the same time, so beautifully sung moreover.
