Dr. Timothy Leary - Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out (1966)

This unadorned spoken word recording of '60s icon Timothy Leary was recorded at the Millbrook estate just before repeated raids and arrests by G. Gordon Liddy ended his famous residency. Though the album title became a clichéd rallying cry for a whole generation, it was presented to the public for the first time here. In this document, Leary presents his ideas on drugs, current events, and cultural phenomena with recollections of earlier experiences and experiments - all delivered in a straight-ahead manner somewhat at odds with the subversive content.
