Tico de Moraes - Landscape in Zoom (2021) Hi-Res

Guitarist, singer and songwriter Tico de Moraes releases his new album LANDSCAPE IN ZOOM, on October 29th, on all digital platforms. On the following day (30), at 8 pm, the artist performs a musical live on his instagram @ticodemoraes, with his composition partners: Felício Torres, João Pinheiro and Marcos Sacramento. And on November 27th, with an official live show at Clube do Choro in Brasília. Tickets will go on sale at Bilheteria Digital as of November 3rd.

LANDSCAPE IN ZOOM is the eighth album of his discography and features nine jazz/pop songs, seven in Portuguese and two in English. The song that opens the new work and gives the album its name is a partnership with lyricist and designer Felício Torres, who also signs the album cover.

LANDSCAPE IN ZOOM alludes to a very natural and increasingly everyday gesture of enlarging images on a cell phone to see better the details of photos, the famous zoom. In addition to Felício, the album has two other songs in partnership: the track Invisível, composed with singer and composer João Pinheiro, and Sol e Luar, work shared with partner of other creations, Marcos Sacramento.

“For me, the choice of name has a meaning at the moment of the career I am living. This zoom is also on the artist Tico de Moraes, not only the composer of the melodies, but the lyricist of several songs on this album”, he says.

According to Tico, he takes new flights in this work, seeking to expand the limits of his compositions, making a bridge between jazz and popular music, and composing more in Portuguese to intensify the dialogue with the audience. Most of the artist's compositions so far have been in English, with hits like OUR CRIME, which already exceeds more than 1 million and 80 thousand streams on the Spotfy platform.
