Ever since he started on this journey, Charlie Morris has been singing and writing songs. Now he finds himself in the forest with his acoustic guitar and some time for reflection. A passel of guest artists stopped by and sat down by the campfire to pick a little and help tell the stories that needed to be told.

These tales wind through the woods and farmlands to the outskirts of the city, introduce you to characters both wise and foolish, and touch on emotions both deep and shallow.

The Forest is very different in style from Charlie’s previous five CD releases, which featured a more guitar-oriented, bluesy sound. But the witty lyrics and sophisticated, eclectic playing style will be familiar to members of Charlie’s Scene.
