Rattlesnake Whip - Love Tender as a Bruise (2013)

Rattlesnake Whip is a band rooted in many Americana styles, roots rock, country, and Steampunk art.

Led by Jonathan Postal of the Avengers and the Readymades (yes, THOSE Avengers and Readymades- also a name of some note in the photography universe) the band formed in 2011 as an ambitious recording project.

Partnering with Daisun "D-DAY" de Rijk of The Sonnets (Chicago), Perturbed, and The Hoax (Memphis) cemented the feel into veteran rocker Americana with the eclecticism to be really creative.

The addition of Rick Malchow on the one of a kind "Slippytone" steel guitar, accordion, flute, trumpet, penny whistle, guitar, keyboards, and kitchen sink and Steve Langford's decisive solid drum work made the sound complete... with a little help from a fine cast of characters from all over North America pitching in to finish the effort!
