In 2005 Katrina was the largest hurricane ever to hit New Orleans. It caused flooding and devastation and many of it's citizens moved away never to return, including many of the musicians that made New Orleans a unique and special music city. This cd celebrates the golden age of Nawlins rhythm and blues. Longhair beats, Fats R+R, queen of N.O. Irma Thomas, Dr.John flavour, Neville Bros soul and a little bit of Zydeco!
