Luiz Caldas - From Dawn to Dusk (2022)

I started early in music. At the age of seven, I made my first presentation and did not stop anymore. I gained space in the musical scene of Salvador, where I performed in the Secret Exchange Circus and played in Carnival gatherings. With the album Magia, I showed Brazil the strength of my sound, called Axé Music. It created this hybrid sound, opening the doors for Bahian artists who wanted to follow the same path. The song Fricote, known as Nega do Cabelo Duro, broke out on Brazilian radio. I released 130 songs, transiting through rock, forró, MPB, samba, electric trio, axé... in 2011, I worked on 12 more albums with unpublished songs. I recently started a project where I make available free songs released monthly here on the site.
