For those of you who may not know me personally, I've been playing harmonica and slide guitar, and writing songs for over fifty years – blues with a touch of jazz and R&B. I became a music journalist at 15, played with my first band at 16, and produced my first recording sessions at 19. So, music has been part of my life for a long time.

While largely self-taught, I was lucky enough as a teen to have some great blues teachers to guide me – James Cotton, Junior Wells, and Louis Myers for harmonica; and Hound Dog Taylor and Luther Tucker for slide guitar. ~Kevin Greenwood
