DWR is an original "southern music" band. The members of the band have a wide range of influences including Blue Grass, Rock, Southern Rock, Blues, Metal and Country.

As a cover band, DarkWater Redemption plays a wide variety of favorites. Their arsenal of music spans from Southern Rock, Country ,Rock and Bluegrass.

DWR has played from Nashville, TN to Martha's Vineyard,MA to Zac Brown's "Southern Ground Social Club" in Senioa, GA.
They were recently Nominated for an Carolina Music award for "Best Country Band" 2014. and have recently completed their debut EP in late October of this year.
