Omar Lyefook MBE is one of the greatest soul music talents the United Kingdom has produced in the last 40 years. He has worked with a broad range of artists, including Stevie Wonder, Leon Ware, Erykah Badu, Carleen Anderson, D’Angelo, Soul II Soul’s Caron Wheeler, Courtney Pine, Rodney P, Kele Le Roc, Natasha Watts and Estelle.

QCBA is the brainchild of Quentin Collins (trumpet) and Brandon Allen (sax). They are a Hammond organ driven quartet playing smart, sassy, contemporary original music, influenced by the great Blue Note era of 1960s. Completing the line-up are Ross Stanley (organ) and Ian Thomas (drums). QCBA is known for collaborating with exceptional artists such as Liane Carroll, Paloma Faith, Hamish Stuart and Natalie Williams, bringing together a melting pot of swinging jazz, Brazilian and funk music.

The evening celebrates the release of Omar + QCBA’s latest album, Live at Last, on the Ubuntu Music record label.
