Scoot Horton - Empty Bottles (2022)

EMPTY BOTTLES is Scoot Horton’s second solo album. It combines his love of country music with punk. Scoot carries his punk influence in whatever he does. Having previously traveled the world touring in punk bands he now finds himself as a solo artist fusing country and punk. He has been described as “Woody Guthrie meets the Sex Pistols.”

EMPTY BOTTLES, contains more traditional country songs like “Old Punks” and “Empty Bottles” in addition to more punk influenced country, like “Thank You” and “Carcass”. EMPTY BOTTLES uses traditional country instrumentation, such as the fiddle, pedal steel, and accordion in conjunction with guitar, bass, and drums, giving the music more of an edge.
