Císař Band - Cizí příběh (2022)

The Emperor of the Band is a jazz-blues quartet of outstanding musicians, led by the charismatic singer and double bassist Jan Císař. The band is based on blues roots, builds on the classical repertoire (Ray Charles, Willie Dixon, Charles Brown, ..), but also presents original songs. Jan Aschenbrenner's Fender Rhodes piano is decisive for the band's sound, Karel Bečvář plays several types of saxophones and Jan Prchal, who sits behind the drums, is the engine.
