This CD covers a lot of musical ground with all original songs in blues, swing, swamp roots-rock, soul, and even a little country influence that's coming out of Florida now. Unique, and firmly settled in the southern music melting pot that has created the greatest American musical genres of our times.
TC is a fantastic, world-class harmonica player and one of Florida's top musical artists. He has long earned a reputation as a premier harmonica player in the US and Europe. He is a Florida native and passionate singer songwriter. His strong lead vocals and unique harp work demand an audiences attention, and makes him a fan favorite wherever he plays. He is one of a kind, truly like nothing you've ever heard!
With the amazing JOSH NELMS on guitar TC Carr & Bolts of Blue have become a top concert band. Josh Nelms is an "on fire" passionate player that without a doubt is one of the best in the blues today.
On the Bass, VINNIE SEPLESKY is a very seasoned pro and a groove-king. On drums, DENNIS MCCARTHY is one of the best and most experienced drummers Florida has to offer. This rhythm section has extensive international touring experience, and they are at the top of the list of Florida's best.
This CD also features a few very special guests.
Master slide guitar and lap steel player DAMON FOWLER, of the Damon Fowler Group and Southern Hospitality, brings his special slide-swamp sound on four cuts. Including "Florida Stomp", the song that is always a hit with the audience.
Hammond B3 master, Shawn Brown fattens up the soul ballad "Spirits to Follow" and blues shuffle killer "Maintenance Man".
TC has shared the stage with Big Jack Johnson, Bo Didley, Bob Margolin, Bruce Hornsby, Charlie Daniels, Dickey Betts, Eddie Shaw, Gary Primich, Gregg Allman, Hubert Sumlin, Jimmy Buffett, John McEuen, Kim Wilson, Lee Oskar, Harvey Mandel, Marshall Tucker Band, Melanie, Orleans, Steve Cropper, Steve Tyler, Susan Tedeschi, Vassar Clements, Vince Gill, and too many more to add to this ever expanding and diverse list.
