Sofi Tukker - Soft Animals EP (2016)

Global indie dance duo SOFI TUKKER (Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern) continue to build upon their expansive electronic sound with their latest single “Awoo.” Featuring the band’s close friend Betta Lemme, the track finds a hypnotic groove in a looped crescendoing synth line and syncopated drum pad beats.

“We wrote ‘Awoo’ with our friend, Betta Lemme, when we were all hanging out laughing by a piano, in a heightened state of goof,” SOFI TUKKER says about the single. “We have a whimsical dance to go along with it. It’s one of our favorite songs to perform live.”

“Awoo” appears on the duo’s forthcoming debut EP “Soft Animals,” due out next week on July 8th. Be sure to catch the pair on tour in Europe, where they will have their debut headlining European show at London’s The Lexington on July 1st.
