The blues has had a strong influence on me, and when I play it I always have the feeling of something deep and absorbing.
This collection includes different blues, with quite a wide-ranging concept. So apart from some classic arrangements, there are instrumental songs in a blues style as well as tunes close to jazz standards, with improvisations and variations next to the opening theme.
I also 're-present' some compositions of mine from past books and videos, because I play them differently today. I would like to say more than this but it’s never easy to talk about one’s own music, for sure written notes are less important than played ones, but they do create a contact with the listener; something which I hope can still keep going for miles and miles... a big hug!
