Gilfema is West African guitarist Lionel Loueke, Swedish-Italian bassist Massimo Biolcati and Hungarian drummer Ferenc Nemeth. Their music is a fusion of three different cultures - contemporary jazz with world influences. Lionel Loueke has recently played and recorded with Herbie Hancock, Terence Blanchard and Charlie Haden.
