In the age of sampled sounds and digital wizardry comes an album of acoustic blues from two masters of their craft. You'll forget that you're listening to just two guys playing drums, guitar, and singing the blues. Honest, simple, and stripped down.

Chances are you've heard Thad Beckman or Danny Montgomery before. Each is a veteran of the music industry with recording and touring credits too long to list. But when they decided to record an album of acoustic blues -- with just a single guitar and drums for instrumentation -- everyone involved with the project knew that the two friends and masters of their craft were going to produce something special, and they did not disappoint. Combining classic blues covers with six of Thad's original songs, Beckman and Montgomery have compiled a tremendously rich live recording that seems too sonically complete to be coming from just two guys playing in the same room at the same time. You won't find any digital wizardry or post-production magic here. None of that was necessary. And though it took a long time for the planets (and touring schedules) to align so that these two legendary musicans could finally record an album together, everyone agrees that it was well worth the wait.
