Etran Finatawa - Introducing Etran Finatawa (2006)

Etran Finatwa (stars of Tradition) is made up of musicians from two different nomadic cultures, 6 are Wodabee and 4 Tuaregs, all are from Niger . The groups music combines the two cultures without losing the essence of either, their songs are in two languages, tuareg (tamasheck) and Wodaabe (fulfulde)and they this combined musical strength to forge a spirit of unity. 6 of the musicians toured Europe last year and stopped off in France to record this welcome introduction to their work.
